My work history is composed of two distinct periods: from September of 1981 to May of 1994; and from May of 1994 to June of 2006.

9/81 to 5/94
My role as an architect centered primarily on architectural and interior design, but included project management, contract documentation and detailing, some involving the use of AutoCad. My activities have also included project representation before various design groups and I have been successful with competitions, submittal development, presentations, model building and manual drafting. I am a team player with the professional demeanor and interpersonal skills that enable me to work easily and effectively with clients, contractors, fellow professionals and the general public.

5/94 to 6/06
My primary role was to direct and manage the business, financial and employee operations of a mail-order nursery with 25 to 30 employees. This unusual, varied and reputable entity brought me into contact with the more academic and distinctive sectors of the horticultural industry. From 5/94 to 6/00 I was a co-owner of the business. From 7/00 to 6/06 I served as the Director of Operations for the entity to which we sold the business.
